Book a table

1. Send your request with the form. There is nothing to pay at this stage.
2. We check our tables and email you a link to pay the deposit.
3. Pay the deposit within 24 hours of getting the link, and always before your booking time (30 minutes for bookings today). Your table is confirmed once it’s paid.

Until the deposit is paid, your request is not a confirmed booking.

• 1–5 guests £10
• 6–10 guests £20
• 11–15 guests £30

The whole tearoom (16+ guests, or anyone hiring it privately): the Afternoon Tea price per guest, for at least 15 guests (from £388.50). On Saturdays, and for more than 20 guests, it’s by arrangement: we’ll contact you to agree the details and the deposit.

We’re a tiny tearoom with only a few tables, so when a booking doesn’t turn up it really hurts us, and often means we’ve had to turn other guests away. We’re sorry to have to ask, but a small deposit holds your table. It isn’t an extra charge: it simply comes off your bill on the day. Thank you for understanding.

Rather not pay a deposit? That’s absolutely fine – you’re always welcome to walk in. We just can’t promise a table will be free when you arrive.

Minimum spend: As we are a small and cosy tearoom with limited seating, we kindly ask for a minimum spend of £10 per guest. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our little teashop.

For parties of 16 or more, or to have the tearoom just for your group, choose “The whole tearoom” on the form and tell us about your event in the notes. On Saturdays, and for more than 20 guests, private hire is by arrangement.

For private bookings and exclusive hire, our opening and closing times can be flexible, depending on your request and our availability.

Dietary requirements: Although 48 hours’ notice is recommended, we may still have vegan and gluten-free options available. Gluten-free or vegan: scones +£1 each, sandwiches +£1 each, full Afternoon Tea +£2.50 per person in total. No extra charge for gluten-free or vegan cakes. Our gluten-free options are made using gluten-free ingredients; however, cross-contamination may occur. Please ask our team.

Food allergy notice: If you have a food allergy or special dietary requirement, please inform a member of the team. We can happily provide an allergy list of our menu. Please be advised that due to the size of our kitchen, there is a risk of allergen cross-contamination.
