Who I Am
Hello, I’m Gulseli Isik.
After twenty-five years as a senior executive in the pharmaceutical industry, I chose to follow a dream that had quietly grown inside me for many years: tea.
Where it began
My journey started with the cosy Leman Tearoom, which I created together with Moiz Elnekave. This heartfelt project introduced us to the enchanting world of tea and shaped my vision of hospitality.
That Little Tea Shop
Building on that experience and my admiration for English tea culture, I began a new chapter with That Little Tea Shop. This is more than a business; it is the realisation of a heartfelt dream.
Believing that tea is a culture that strengthens friendships and crowns special moments, I set out to present the essence of English tea tradition with warm and playful touches.
My Philosophy
To me, tea is more than just a drink; it is a ritual, a comfort, and a way of connection. True hospitality means anticipating needs, creating meaningful moments, and sending guests home with treasured memories.

Our tea room, in harmony with the historic character of the Brighton Lanes, invites guests on a delightful journey through time – among lace-covered tables, fine porcelain, and carefully chosen antiques.
